Several hundred retired admirals and generals have begun c.n organisation cal\ed the Kofukukai Society. It is designed to assist Army and Navy candidates for the Diet, and to foster militarist education in Japan, thereby supplying the nucleus of a military group in Japanese politics. Tho Society already is aiding a number of ox-officers of the army and navy who are seeking seats in the Diet.
