PORTUGUESE ADVENTURESS.
Widow of a Portuguese count who was shot as a Royalist at Lisbon in 1921, Estello Hood appeared at Marylebonc Police Court charged with theft. ' , ' Giving her age as 27, she was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment. A story of three marriages in seven years was., told by Police-Sergeant Bushnell. After serving sentences of imprisonment. Hood, he said, took to a life of gaiety in the West End, In 1917 she married a wealthy Dutchman, but he died soon afterwards. Hood then met Coount Gil do BourJa, and married him in romantic circumstances in Portugal. After the Count had been shot she married am unemployed theatrical agent of 20.
