VISTULA FLOODS 40 VILLAGES

Advices from Warsaw state that the Vistula River has flooded forty villages. Twenty persons are dead and damage has been done to the extent of four - million sterling. Aeroplanes are seeking the survivors. THIRTY DEAD RECOVERED IN SPAIN. (Received Tuesday, 7 p.m.) MADRID, March 31. Torrential floods in the Guadalquivir near Algaba resulted in the collapse of a bridge. Turn hundred people on the bridge were watching the churning waters when a motor omnibus pushed through the crowd. It had reached the third arch when the bridge broke, throwing the onlookers, passengers and ’bus into the flooded river. Thirty of the dead have already been recovered and fifty others were injured.
