MUSICAL UNION.
A*) meeting of the. Feilding Musical Uni .n was held at the office of Mr. J. R. Perry on Monday night, those present being Messrs. A. E. Sandford (in the chair), A. J. Fellow, J. K. Perry, YV. W. Andrews, A. It. Shclton, A. Farmer, I*. I'. Stevens, C. S. Jeffs and the secretary It was announced that the Manchcs-t'er-slreet School was available for practice purposes, and that good progress was being made with the junior choral branch of the union. It was decided to postpone the date of the proposed concert, and to practice for a rendering of the "Messiah," in December next'. Mr. A. J. Geary was appointed hon auditor, and the president, Mr. Perry and tho secretary were appointed the executive. A junior practice is to be held at the Man-chester-street School this afternoon at 5.30 p.m.
