HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT

AN EXCELLENT PROGRAMME. The pupils of the Agricultural High School held their first halt-yearly concert in the Tivoli Theatre last evening. Their appearance was greeted by a large and enthusiastic audience. The various items were rendered without fault or hesitation on the part of the children, and as their' first effort, it was highly commondablo, .reilecting credit on the tutorship of Mr. J. Garde Grimshaw. The concerted items were the school song " Forty Years On," tht hoys' football song " On The Ball," and an exhibition of Swedish drill by n specially trained squad of boys. Th' solo performers included N. Camp bell, E. James, M. Amadio, J. Christensen, M. Pussell, K. Barns and C. Stack. Part songs included "Y( Banks and Braes," " O, Who Will O'ei the Downs," " Hail Smiling Morn," " O flush Thee My Baby," "Yc Gentle Warblers,'' and " England, Dear Bug land." Other's to contribute I'o the programme were E. James, Irene Bridge and Cathie Gilford. A highly successful entertainment concluded with an amusing dialogue " Getting Ready for a Picnic."
