If is understood that the Nelson representatives are anxious for a match with Feilding on Friday next and efforts are being made by the; associa lion to bring about the fixture. The Feilding 'hockey players arcgreatly disappointed over the arrangement of the hockey now that the hall holiday lias been altered to Wednesday. Although the association is doing its best for the players, it is ver> disappointing to find that some enthusiasts cannot play. There certainly are a good few players that cannot. It was suggested that there should be Wednesday and Saturday teams. Ii this could be arranged ,if would be a great benefit to those players who are unable to play on Saturday. " Pan we not arrange for three Wednesday teams and three Saturday ? " was asked. The chairman of the association has stated that, this •cannot b 0 as there are not enough hockey players. Still with enthusiasts about, matters might be so arranged.
