The band have mapped out a choice selection of march pieces and it should not be long before more is heard of the movement. The Feilding Girls' Physical Culture Club met in the Parish Hall on Monday n'ght, when Mr. G. V. At the conclusion, the speaker was given a hearty and appreciative vote of thanks. The rat nuisance in the Feilding Borough Council's dump is to be tack led right away. Clean rubbish w originally dumped in the locality in order to fill a hole, but other matter began to collect with the result that rats bcg-in to gather. According to reports the rodents have been having a rollicking time to the danger of the community. That their destruction should have been tackled by small hoys suggests a lack of supervision of the dump, and it is hoped that the publicity given the matter will be the means of eradicating the evil.
