CONGRESS RESOLUTIONS. QUESTION OF SHARING FAMILY PURSE. MARRIAGE AND NATIONALITY. [By Electric Cable—Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received, Wednesday, 8,55 p.m.) ROME, May 15. The Women's Congress adopted resolutions that the number of children should be proportionate to the economic capacity of the parents, also that marriage should not change women’s nationality. Husband and wife should have the right of the free enjoyment of their respecti/b earnings, and incomes, but the wife should also share her hueband’s income, while the husband should share the wife’s income when he was unable to earn a living. If a husband refused to pay his wife a share of his income, the Courts should order payment to the wife direct. The Congress asked for legislation in all countries guaranteeing the economic independence all married women.
