Following a conference with fighters, Mr. Tex Rickard has announced that Willard and Firpo have agreed to fight not later than July 7. Mr. Kearns agreeing that the winner fights Dempsey. OARDENTI Ell CALLS IT OFF. OWING TO INJURED HANDS. (Received Wednesday, 7 p.m.) LONDON, May 15. Advices from Paris state that Descliamps has cancelled Carpentier’a fight against Beckett in London in June, owing to the Frenchman’s injured hands. Carpentier, however, will meet McTigue in America in July.
