DEPORTEES TO IRELAND.
FREE STATE WILLING TO HAND THEM OVER. [By Electric Cable—Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Sunday, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 12. Mr. O’Higgins, Minister of Home Affairs announced that the Free State would hand over to Britain all deportees when asked to do so. He stated an examination of the agreement under which the prisoners were obtained, shows a weakness. In view of Mr. Art O’Brien’s appeal, this decision promises to smooth Britain's path, if the appeal to the Lords is unsuccessful.
