Negotiations’ between the engineering and shipbuilding trade Unions and the Employers’ Federation on tlie qu\3tion of the withdrawal of the munitions bonus of 127; per cent, for time workers, and 7J per cent, for peace-workers has reached a deadlock. The employers proposed to withdraw in four instalments, contpleting on December 24th. The Unionist delegates rejected the proposal. The employers are adamant that the cuts be completed before Christmas, and threaten to withdraw the full bonus immediately, failing an agreement.
