NEW YEAR HONOURS.
NEW ZEALAND LIST. TWO KNIGHTHOODS. The Governor-General has been advised that the King has co'riferred the following honours on the occasion of the New Year: — KNIGHTS BACHELOR. The Honourable Worley Bassett Edwards, Senior Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand: for long and valuable services in the capacity of Judge of the Supreme Court, to which he was appointed in 1896. Mr Joseph James Kinsey, of Christchurch: for special services rendered in connection with various Antarctic Expeditions. C.M.G. Colonel George Frederick Colin Campbell, V.D., Secretary to the Treasury, Receiver-General, PaymasterGeneral, etc., for long valuable services rendered to the New Zealand Government, both in civil and a military capacity. Mr William Russell Morris, 1.5.0., Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department: for valuable services rendered to the New Zealand Government.
