Winston Churchill declined to discuss, during question time, whether it wjuld be more effectual for the Dominions to provide additions to the Imperial navy or a local navy. Mr Asquith (Premier) moved that Sir Stuart Samuel's seat be declared vacant. Petitions representing 100,000 women will be presented to the House of Commons to-morrow requesting permission for the women to appear at the bar to plead for enfranchisement.
