FEILDING A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
A general committee meeting of the Feilding A. and P. Association was held last evening, Mr Ernest Short presiding. Donations were received from Mr "W. H. Brewster and the National Mortgage Agency Co.'s Longburn Freezing Co., £2 2s each; J. Darragh, R. L. Levin and Duncan, £5 each; A. J. Hum and R. Reid £1 each (special); Gear and Wellington Meat Export Companies, £3 3s each; G. Turnbull, £1; Ellis Bros., £1 Is; ;F. Ellis, £5; Manawatu Auction eers' Association, £&; Kells, Feilding, 10s. New members elected were: —Dr. iivesey, Messrs Seymour, W. Young, -A. H. Protest, H. E. L. Peat, C. lies, T. Long, W. Long (Feilding), W. Gloyn (Rongotea), and S. Smith I Feilding). Meat Export Co,, wrote stating they would be pleased to freeze the show stock.
It was decided to call for tenders ifor .leasing 18 acres of the show grounds. Mr J. Knight offered the Association the use of eight acres of lucerne ■for the show exhibits of stock, Mr G. Elliott offered an accommodation paddock. The secretary was requested to arrange for a special train to leave Palmerston about 1 p.m. on Peoples' Day, and return between 5 and 6
