FALL OF EARTH.
AUCKLAND MAN KILLED.
(Press Association.— By Telegraph. Auckland, Last Night. A miner named William Sullivan, aged about 30 and married, was killed to-night at Ponsonby by a fall of earth. Deceased was at work on some drainage works at a tunnel when 20 to 30 tons of earth caved in, part of it striking deceased. He died soon after being extricated.
