ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Invercargill. Dec. 4. The police are advised that - Thomas James Reynolds died at the Riverton Hospit&l to day from the effects of a wound tin his head re* ceived while working at Wxeysfinsh ~ „ on Tuesday. Reynolds war binding a loop in the wire rope of a haiilil» ~ engine, when the engine surged, and the rope tightened, causing an:iron bar to fly round and hit Reynolds -. on the temple.
