Wellington Meeting. By. "Augur." The winter fixture of the Wellington Racing Club will be advanced another stage to-day. Excellent acceptances have been received for all events, with the exception of the leading jumping contest,; the Wellington Steeplechase, for which only four remain in. A double will be run on the machine on the Steeples and Waterloo Handicap, The following may run prominently:—. " Glasgow Handicap, 6 furlongß-Gawain 10.2 or St. Claimer 10.4. Karori Hack, 6 t urlonge—Wakaraka 10.0 and Martyrium 10.1. Hack Hurdles, li miles—Landlook 11.7 and 9.7. Wellington Steeplechase, 31 miles— Khama 9.18. Waterloo Handicap, 7 furlongs—Ellerton 10.0 and Seaman 9.7. Jumpers' Flat, H miles—Landlook 11.2 and Asteroid l<^.9. Thorndon Hack, 5 furlongs—Tawhera 9.3 and Barley 6.7.
