Johnsonvillb, Tuesday. : Messrs Freeman E. Jackson and Co., in conjunction jvith Messrs Abraham and Williams, report on their Johnsonville sale as follows :—
We had an average yarding of prune bullocks, for which bidding was keen, beef making 26s to 27s per lOOlbs. We quote—Prime heavy weights £1117s 6d to .£l2; others, £10 17s 6d; smaller sorts, £9 10s to £10 15s. A small yarding of sheep sold freely; light Wethers, 12s 3d to 13s 2d; good ewes, lls 9d to 13s 9d ; others, 9s 9d to 10s lOd. A line of good lambs were pased in. Others made 9s to 9s Id. No pigs •were yarded.
