At St. Andrew's Church, Marton, on Thursday Mr H. S. Moss was married to Miss Louise Kussell. The bridesmaids were Mies Kathleen Kussell and Miss Ethel Mcßeth ; Mr Campbell of Feilding acted as best man ; and Mr Herbert Russell as groomsman. The wedding march was played by Mr 0. Barnes of Kimbolton. Mr Arundel Orchard leaves for Sydney next Friday to take up his duties as leader of the Sydney Leidertafel. The family of the late Mrs Rankin of Apiti indicate elsewhere their thankfulness to the matron and staff of the local hospital for the kindness and attention displayed towards their late mother. Dr. Grace, M.L.C, is in a critical state of health. Mr George Harper, solicitor, of Otaki, was last week married to Miss Eva D'Ath, of that place. Mr M. Cohen will act in conjunction with Mr Varnham, of Greytown, as judge of music in the marching competition at the Band Contest at Masterton. The Christchurch papers record the death, on January 22nd, of Mrs Alice Stening, wife of Mr William Stening of that city. The deceased lady was a sister of Mr S. J. Watson .of this town. She had been suffering from cancer for over twelve months and death came as a happy release. Deceased leaves, besides her husband, five children, two of whom are married, to mourn then- loss.
