MR J. C. WILLIAMSON'S MUSICAL COMEDY CO.

In our advertising columns this morning, Mr Williamson announces that tho long-looked-for visit of his famous Musical Comedy Company will take place at the Theatre Royal on Saturday, January 31st, and Monday, February 2nd. This company has just concluded a phenomenally successful tour of the four centres in New Zealand. On Saturday next the Williamson Musical Comedy Company will inaugurate their season in Palmerston, -when " A Runaway Girl " will be staged, on the same scale of completeness, and by tho full strength of his company, comprising upwards of eighty people, including an orchestra of 14, as played in the centres of New Zealand. " A Runaway Girl " has just concluded a run of ten nights, in Auckland to the largest business on record. On Monday next " San Toy " will be played. This successful musical comedy is now in its 4th year and still running at Daly's Theatre, London. Mr Williamson's Musical Comedy Company consists of upwards of eighty people, including Misses Rose Musgrove, Lillian Digges, I Blanche Wallace, Elsie Moore, Aggie I Kelton, Grahame Newton, Lane Brown, Nellie Borthwick, Madge Bennett, Annie Cobb, Elsie Baxter, Eva Hillas, and Messrs Fred. H. Graham (principal comedian), Claude Bantock, Arthur Crane, Maurice Dudley, Arthur Lissant, Fred Leslie, Ernest Mozar, James Hughes, G. Ralfe, I. Whitfield, H. Sweeney, etc., with full opera chorus and orchestra under the baton of Mr Geo. Hall. Mr Williamsou's Musical Comedy Company have just finished a season of twenty-five nights in Auckland. They arrive in Napier this morning by the Zealandia, and will arrive here by express train on Saturday. The box plan for "Runaway Girl" and " San Toy" will open on Wednesday morning at Park's, stationers. Mr McGuinness, the advance agent, is in town making the preliminary arrangements.
