WOMEN BOWLERS’ SUCCESS
Two Manawatu pairs contested the final oh the Manawatu and AVest Coast Women’s Bowling Centre’s tournament yesterday on the St. John’s Club green, Wanganui, the finalists being Mesdames Graham ' and AVackrow (Takaro), who beat Mesdames Turner and Scales (Terrace End) by 24 points to 22. In the semi-finals Mesdames Graham and Wackrow beat Mesdames Bishop and AVoskett (Hokowhitu), and Mesdames Turner and Scales boat Mesdames Joyce and Pluck (AVanganui).
