Children of St. Andrew’s Church Sunday school and their parents were entertained at a party yesterday by members of the Church toocial Guild, who make a feature of the event each year during the August school iio'liuays. in welcoming the guests, the president (Mrs At. mitcliison; said that siie thought it was the largest party yet held. Before adjourning to tot. Andrew's Hall, a programme of items was given, by the children, who were directed by iVlesdames A. Coutts and Lyons and Aiiss I. Granston. In the bail, the long table down the centre bad- been brightly decorated with red, white and blue crepe paper upon which were set Iceland poppies and a party tea. Beautiful decorations car riod out with japonica, poppies and bulbs created a party atmosphere, the decorations being the work of Alesdamcs R. Port and J. L. Walker and Aiiss Stewart. Graham Hubbard pronounced Grace and after the good tilings had been enjoyed returned thanks and called for cheers which were given. The door hostesses were Alcsdames Croad, L. Hawk and to. Bradfield and members of the executive and friends donated the refreshments.
