MOTHERS’ UNION

Before the monthly meeting of the All Saints’ branch of the Mothers’ Union was held on Wednesday, ltev. J. li. McCaul conducted a short service. The meeting, wldcli was deferred from last week, was presided over by Mrs J. Ax, wtio welcomed particularly Mrs T. B. Brougham, who had been absent for some time, and several old members who had returned. A large quantity of warm clothing had been lorwarded to the lted Cross lor Unrra by the sewing circle, reported Ail's Ax. A brief report on the activities of the Manawatu branch of the National Council of Women, in regard to the city milk supply, food parcels lor Britain, etc., was given by Airs Bridon-Jones.
