TERRACE END POST OFFICE.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —May I draw the attention of the Post Office authorities to the difficulty of newcomers in locating the Post Office at Terrace End? After a prolonged hunt followed by many inquiries I located it finally, buried at the end of a block of buildings, with a microscopic sign hanging under the verandah announcing its existence.

Terrace End is a large locality with a steadily increasing population, and the Post' Office is a daily necessity to all, more especially as it caters for money orders and telegrams and savings bank. Why bury it, when for a few shillings an easily-seen sign could be erected above the verandah? Many people must he unaware of the existence of this little office, and a sign as suggested would save many a trip into town for elderly legs.—Yours, etc., MYOPIC.
