ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —The members of the above association are having their annual street day tomorrow, and 1 would ask that our citizens give this appeal their most liberal support. In addition to teaching classes, both male and female, in first aid, home nursing, and hygiene, the association always has representatives at sports gatherings and public functions, where their services are given freely, and where those unfortunate enough to require first aid get'prompt attention from those properly trained. The local sub-centre has purchased a section and is desirous of building its own ambulance station and lecture rooms. As the association has to rely on public subscriptions ior its revenue, I do commend this appeal to our citizens. feeling sure they will accord it most liberal support.—Yours, etc.. A. E. MANSFORD, Mayor.
