PULLING LION'S WHISKERS
LONDON, August 9. Francois Cliarruel, of La Chapelle Basse, near Nantes, was dared to try to pull the whiskers of a .circus lion. Francois accepted the dare, sneaked up on the lion, thrust in an arm and grabbed. A report from Paris says that Francois is in hospital minus an arm.
