Of an aggregate of £7493 17s 7d for the district, the city returned £4901 11s 7d. Other offices winch did well were: Feilding. £839; Dnnnevirke, £707; Raliiatua, £502; Levin £118; Ohau, £B4: Rangiotu, £76, and Shannon, £72. Last week 257 towns attained their quotas of National Savings. All tho principal centres were again successful and in each of the 19 postal districts the full district objective was readied.
