The Dominion Auctioneering C-oy.. Ltd report receiving a capacity yarding of pigs at their weekly sale, and with the exception of two pens a total clearance was mado at values a little easier on last week’s rates. Poultry was again keenly sought after, particularly table birds. Tho usual supply of fruit and produce came forward. Quotations: Pigs: Best wcaners. 29s to 375; medium, 25s to 275; small, 18s 6d to 2Gs; slips, 26s 6J to 355; stores, 30s to 38s 6d; mediumweight porkers, £2 14s to £3, light, £2 7s to £2 13s; baeoners, £3 3s od to £3 7s 6d- sows to farrow, to £5. Poultry Best hens, 7s to 7s 9d; medium, 4s 6d to 5s 4d; light, 3s 3d to 4s; roosters, 2s 6d to 4s 9d; prime cockerels, 5s 6d to 7s; small 9d to Is 7d; liens and chicks, to 13s; ducks, 5s to 6s; young ducks, to 10s; broodv liens, to 6s 9d; turkey liens, to 9s. Produce: Cauliflowers, from 12s to 20s per sack; spring cabbages, from 5s 6d to 9s per case: leeks, 7s to 10s per case, best carrots, 14s to 16s per ease, sugarhags 3s to 7s; parsnips. 10s 6d to 12s 6(1 per case; lettuces, best from 14s to 16s 6d per case; others from 6s to 11s; beetroot, 8s to 10s per case; swedes, from 8s 6d to 11s 6d per sack; celery, from 25s to 35s per ease; silver beet, from 4d to Is per bunch; spring onions, 3s to 4s 3d per bundle; radishes, 2s 9d per dozen bunches.
