CARE OF WAR GRAVES
(Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 23. The Imperial War Graves Commission’s annual report states that registration units are working with the armies abroad and the British, New Zealand, and South African units arc employed in the Western Desert. An Australian unit is operating in Palestine and Syria. The number of burial grounds opened in Egypt is several hundred. Graves have been consolidated since the Syrian campaign, mostly at Damascus and Beirut.
