Mr L. Cooper, bacteriologist at the Palmerston North Hospital, has returned to duty after a long period of indisposition. The death has occurred at Wellington of Mr William George FeJlingham, who had been tho secretary of the National Rifle Association since 1922. — Press Association. Two further members oi tne lalmerston North Hospital Board s staff who are at present on active service have been reported missing—Mr ABaker, previously employed as an ambulance driver at Otaki, and Mr V. Manuel, previously employed as an ambulance driver at Palmerston North It was decided bv the Hospital Board to-day to send letters of sympathy to their relatives, expressing hope for the safety of tho men.
