GOLF.
Falmcrston North Club. —A team of golfers from the Ohakea Air Force Station visited tlie Palmerston North Club's links at tho wcok-cnd, and in an inter-club match with the home team wore narrowly beaten. The visitors incluled the two well-known Wanganui golfers, R. F. and A. R. Kitto, both of whom won their games. The chib's week-end competitions resulted:—Aleda!: P. J. Norris. 81 —9 —72; J. Kearns, 93—20—73; E. Pink, 83—10 —73. Single bogey: W. Wilton, M. Williamson, 1 down: B. J. Bell. 3 down. Four-ball best ball bogey: Air and Airs Alace, 1 down; Air and Airs Curd, 3 clown.
