FEILDING SALE.

The Associated Auctioneers report a very satisfactory yarding of fat sheep at the Feilding sale. Prices; for fat hoggets were up on the previou, week’s rates; fat ewes and fat wethers met with a ready sale and prices were on a par with the previous week’s. In the store sheep cection a large number of 2. 4. and 6-lb ewes came forward in good condition; bidding way very keen and resulted in 2-ths bringing up to 33s 6d and 4 and 6-tli ewes up to 295. Older ewes mol with just fair competition. Store lambs sold at pricey on a par with the previous week’s. In the dairy cattle section there was a very heavy yarding of both dairy heifers ami dairy cows. For good quality there was keen competition. pricey ranging to £lO for heifers, and from £8 to £l3 for cows. Poorer sorts were not very keenly sought after. A few pons of wearier heifers were submitted and these sold particularly well, outside buyers paying up to £5 10s. In the station cattle section weaner P.A. steers were passed in at £4 16s: 2j-yr P.A. heifers, however, were sold at £6 2s 6d and steers around £5. In the fat cattle section the station beef offered was of poor quality arid met with only fair competition. Ex-dairy cows were siighty lower than the previous week’s. Boner cattle maintained the previous week’s prices.
