At the Women's Institute etichro tournament, the prizes wore won by Mrs Vosper and Mr R. A. Mercer. The hall so- ! ciety's euchre tournament hefu on TuesI day night resulted: Mrs S. Albert 1, Mrs . Brown 2; Mr E. Wolfsbauer 1, Mr K. ! Puklowski 2. Messrs N. Terry and C, Osten, who wero ; members of the Kelvin Grove Homo j Guard, have left tho district. Mr H. Shepherd, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned homo. Trooper B. Waller, of Dannevirke camp, visited Mr and Mrs R. Mercer, at the week-end. Residents and friends will regret to learn that Private George McLaren is reported missing from the campaign in Crete. Mr and Mrs D. Vile have returned home from PliwJ merton.
