! Mcsdames W. J. Booth and W. Green leave to-morrow to attend the annual conference of the W.D.I'MJ. in Wellington. The late Mr W. Stringer, whose death occurred recently, joined the Feilding Fire Brigade in 1901 and resigned in 1922. He acted as deputysuperintendent for five years and a? superintendent for iour years. Private Keith Gearv. son of Mr and Mrs A. J. Geary, of Ranfurly Avenue. Feilding, who has been overseas with the Medical Corps on one of New Zealand's hospital ships, has returned j home. Unfortunately, however, he has : suffered ill-health and is at present) in hospital.
