WOMEN'S WAR WORK
TRANSPORT SECTION. In Feilding several groups of Red (Voss and Women's War Service Auxiliary trainees have completed their nai.-ing in uansport work and have reached the standard of efficiency required to enable them to act in the case of emergency. At present a group of 14 members of the St. John Ambulance Division are studying transport work and are receiving instruction from Mr Clinton Way. who gave the other trainees their instruction every week for a period of 12 weeks. The present class has received nine lessons and Mr Way states that the trainees are particularly keen on the work and are making excellent progress. Ik' considers that in an emergency each member would be quite capable of attending to faults in the wiring system of a vehicle and could trace petrol troubles efficiently.
