MOTORIST FINED
(Press Assn.) , HAMILTON, May 14. Having been found guilty an a •charge of negligent driving causing tho death of Myra Minnie Gootes at Hillcrest on March 13, William Reid Douglas, aged 27, motion picture projectionist, of Morrinsville, appeared for sentence before Mr Justice Johnston in the Supreme Court at Hamilton. Prisoner's good record must he taken into account, said His Honour. Douglas was fined £25 and also ordered to pay the costs of the prosecution. His driving license was cancelled for two years.
