FORCED LANDING.
PLANE AT MT. WHITE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Oct. 8. The missing Oxford aircraft was located at Mt. White, approximately 10 miles south-east from Arthur’s Pass. The aircraft was undamaged and the crew uninjured after a forced landing in a large paddock at the Mt. White sheep station at 4.30 p.m. vesterda.y; The aircraft may lie flown back to Wigram if the field is large enough for a take-off. and two Royal New Zealand Air Force officers proceeded to Mt. White to-day to inspect the field for this purpose.
