BREACH OF REGULATIONS

Per Press Association. • AUCKLAND, Oct. 4. On two summons charges of selling goods at a price higher than that fixed under the Price Stabilisation Emergency Regulations, Ullathorne, Hartridge and Coy., Ltd., were fined by Mr J. Morling, S.M., in the Police Court, £2 and costs on one charge and were ordered to pay costs 10s plus £1 Is solicitor’s fee on the other.

Defending counsel (Mr Cleal) said there was no question of profiteering. Defendants had since been authorised to charge Is 9£d and 2s 2d, respectively, for cloth mentioned in the charge.
