GOLF.
CLUB COMPETITIONS. The Feilding Golf Club conducted a fourball bogey scramble on Saturday afternoon in perfect weather. The competition was won by M. Waldin and It. Richardson, 7 up. Other cards returned were: D. J. Ilay and G. L. Ewen, 6 up; T. C. Collins and S. M. Marsdcn, 5 up; B. Beattie and G. Lintott, 2 up. The position in the club’s competitions is as follows: —Senior championship: C. B. Thomas and V. J. Stichbury play in the final. Brown Cup: J. Stewart beat V. J. Stichbury in the final. President’s knockout: Stichbury beat B. Beattie in the final intermediate championship; T. Donaldson and R-osoman play W. Bray and R. Blundell in tho semi-final. Hegarty Memorial Trophy: W. H. Smith plays A. C. McC'orkindalc and P. Whiteman meets. RII. Farquharson in tho semi-finals. Junior championship: L. W. Pcnhoy plays W. Drube and D. J. Hay meets 11. Mayer in tho semi-finals. Gonville Saunders Cup: G. Pearson is to play G. G. Ewen in the final. On Saturday next there will be a ladies v. men’s match, players to hand their names 'to the secretary.
