FEILDING STOCK SALE. AUCTIONEERS’ REPORT. The Associated Auctioneers report on the Feilding sale as follows:"—Approximately 1000 fat slieep were yarded, the majority being ewes. Values of wethers and hoggets showed a slight increase on recent sales, this being mainly on account of the short yarding. Two full races of fat ewes sold at prices in keeping with the last sale, vendors meeting the ' market in most cases. A light yarding of 1800 store sheep, comprising mainly ewe and wether hoggets and ewes and lambs, met wjth keen competition, prices maintaining recent high levels; a pen of very choico ewe hoggets roalised £2 0s 2d and a pen of 113 ewes with 132 lambs at foot reached 21s (all counted). Quite a number of station cattle came forward, the majority being yearling sorts. Competition was quite keen, but vendors’ reserves were often higher than the offers received. The 2-yr and 3-yr cattle, however, sold readily, prices if anything being slightly higher than those at last week’s cattle fair.
