TO-MORROW’S ATTRACTIONS.
Rugby football of a good representative standard should ‘ be seen at the Showgrounds oval to-morrow, when teams from the Wellington Centurions and Manawatu Evergreens Clubs will be matched at 2.30 p.n,. both sides being composed of incu who have worn Rugby representative jerseys in recent years. In numerous cases , the players have taken part in representstivc matches this season. The Wellington side is freely sprinkled with names which are common to followers of the sport, and the Manawatu team includes some,of the best players over the last two seasons. The ground is in good order, and the players fit, so that the play should .be fast and vigorous. , , . The curtain-raiser will be played between teams of former players drawn from the Manawatu and Feilding districts. While this match may not be as spectacular as the main one, there will be seen in . action many who have earned renown in Manawatu teams of other years.
