PIG IRON SUPPLIES.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 9. The Government is now investigating the possibility of making use of the old production plant at the site of Onekaka iron deposits for the manufacture of pig iron This was stated by the Minister for Supply (Hon. D. G. Sullivan), in an interview. The Minister indicated that , it might he in the interests of the Avar effort to spend a certain amount of money on the project.
