THRIFT IN BRITAIN.
(British Official Wireless.) Received August 10. 2.10 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 9. Savings groups formed under the National Savings Campaign now number ten million members. This was announced by Sir Robert Kindersley, who said the* campaign was now being concentrated on increasing the number of members. He announced that there are now 1200 local committees and a quarter of a million voluntary workers responsible for organising 150.000 groups of savings certificate contributors.
