PRIVATE’S DEATH. WELLINGTON, Aug. 6. It was officially announced yesterday that Pilot-Officer Alan Carthew Rowe, of the Royal Air Force, who was previously reported to have been seriously injured on active sei-A-ice ill June, is now removed from the seriously ill list. His father is Rev, AY. RoAve, of Nelson. . _ , The folloAving casualty in the Second N Z.E F has been reported: Private Archibald New, 21st Rifle Battalion, died of injuries, August 3, 19-KL as result of accident. Father, Air AA r , H New, Kennedy Bay, Coromandel.
