SPLENDID RESPONSE.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 2. A remarkable response met the appeal launched by the Air Force Relations a few days ago for the knitting of gloves for pilots and observers on active service. No fewer than 2800 were required, and within a day or two Air Force Relations headquarters at Wellington found itself almost swamped with applications for the special wool to 'bo used. The full sfipply required is assured.
