PLUNKET SOCIETY
MONTHLY MEETING. At the monthly meeting of the 'Feilding Plunket Society Mrs McCorkindale presided. The second bridge party organised by Mrs Carrick was very popular and £2 was added to the fund to defray cost of new scales-, it was reported. Mesdames Sticlibury, McGregor and Lourie were hostesses. The nurse reported an .increase in .the number of new babies, there being 25 in the town. Visits to rooms this montli were: 325' adults, 308 babies, 33 children. It was decided to hold the annual meeting in the Community Centre. It is hoped that thh mothers who receive for themselves and their children beneficial attention from the Plunket Society will make eveyy „ endeavour to bo present.
