GOLF. The Feilding Golf Club will be engaged in inter-club matches during the week-end. Members will play Dannevirke at Feilding and Kiwitea at Kimbolton. On Saturday afternoon the members will take-part in a fourball best ball Stableford, players to choose ..their, partners anl. opponents. Cricket Ground Improvements. When the cricket season comes round wiclders of the willow will strike off a well-seasoned pitch, as. all the wickets have been returled and topdressed to ensure that wear will be reduced to a minimum. In past seasons now grass has been sown in winter, but it has been found that .the top -wears off too quickly with immature grass, and for that reason it was decided to returf with well seasoned grass.
