TOWNSWOMEN’S GUILD.
A delightful entertainment was presented in the southern ward of the Palmerston North Hospital, on Tuesday afternoon, when the music circle of the Palmerston North Townswomen’s Guild paid a visit. Items were given by the glee singers, led by Mrs W. H. Bigham and accompanied by Mrs J. C. Riddle; vocal solos, Mesdames A. Hunt, L. Sadd and Pascoc; vocal duets, Mesdames C. Jamieson and L. Ax; pianoforte duets, Mesdames Bigham and Riddle; elocutionary items, Mrs Fowles and Miss E„ Scott. The visitors were afterwards entertained at afternoon tea by the matron (Miss L. M. Banks).
