PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB. ONE-DAY TOURNAMENT. The Awatnpu links were in excellent order for the Indies’ one-day tournament, held on Saturday, when a most

enjoyable time was spent by those who participated. Visitors were present from the Manawatu, Feilding and Iviinbolton Clubs. The starting was in 1 the capable hands of Mr A. E. Ekstedt. Before presenting the trophies Mrs C. V. Cioohetto (club captain) ex- : pressed the thanks of the ladies’ conimittee to the men’s committee for ' granting the use of the links for the day, to the donors of trophies, to Mr Ekstedt and the ground staff, and all who in any way assisted to make the day the undoubted success it was. .
