In view of her approaching marriage, Miss Nellie Whitehead was tne guest <M honour at a gift alterncon he'd at tlie home of .Miss Julie Green. There was a very good attendance and the friends should benefit considerably. Wilson, of Tapuac, etayed the week-end in Beuconsficld at the homo of Air and Airs A. Snell. The improvements and repairs lo the school and residence have been completed, the work having been done by the \Vanganui Education Board. A now entrance w being formed to the school house and the committee have in hand the matter of a I new car shod to he built at the back of j tho school residence.
